Viña Malova
Mallorie Gil • English
Malova is our community center in a small community called Maria Elena just below Mazatlán’s city dump. Viña Mazatlán's presence in this economically deprived area has created a sense of community that did not previously exist. Residents and dump workers are seeing God’s love through those who serve there, and the children are receiving Christian instruction they would not have otherwise received if a feeding center building hadn’t been erected. Mallorie Gil and her team provide a meal twice each week, Wednesday and Saturday, for the children and the dump workers returning from their day’s labor. There is also an adult bible study, English classes, a soccer team in the making, and plans for much, much more!
