MUSIC FOR ALL

One Heart - Children's Orchestra

In a corner filled with dreams, prayers, and simple faith, a vision was born in the hearts of God’s servants: to raise a children’s orchestra for the glory of Christ. It was not a human goal nor a passing idea, but a promise from God, sown deep in the soul—a promise that, in time, took shape, sound, and a name: “One Heart.”
“One Heart” is not just an orchestra. It is an answer. It is the manifestation of what God can do when He finds a willing, humble, and sensitive heart. It was founded in 2019, with the certainty that God honors those who believe in Him, and that what He promises, He faithfully fulfills.
The story of its foundation is rather amusing because our pastor, Oralia Collom, wanted to learn guitar, so she began taking lessons with teacher Elizabeth Mejia. Through their conversations, this project was born, with the two of them as the founders of the orchestra. A couple of years later, the initial project—called Community Orchestra of Hope—faced some difficulties and was close to ending.
Several factors led to this point, the main one being that our director, Elizabeth Mejia, stepped down due to maternity. It was then, with God’s help and the support of the teachers who remain active to this day, that we embraced this promise of God once more. Flor and Jesús, leaders of CCE Loma Bonita, took over the project, determined to fulfill the vision. This is where the name ONE HEART was born.
Many of the children who now play instruments in this orchestra may have never imagined being part of something so special. They came from humble homes—some marked by hardships, others by scarcity—but all with something in common: a place where God could write a new story. With every rehearsal, every note, every performance, the Scripture is fulfilled:

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
—Proverbs 22:6

The “One Heart” orchestra was founded with a dual purpose: to worship God with excellence and to shape lives with eternal purpose. Each instrument is a tool of praise. Each child is a seed of the Kingdom. Each song is a prophetic declaration over their generation. God promised to raise worshippers in spirit and in truth, and here they are: small but mighty; innocent but anointed; with tiny hands but hearts ablaze with the fire of God.
This orchestra was born because someone dared to believe in the waiting, to persist amidst opposition, and to trust that “He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23). Through this ministry, God continues to show that what is small in His hands can be used for great things.

Today, when we hear “One Heart” play, we do not just hear music… we hear the echo of a fulfilled promise. We hear the heartbeat of a grateful people, of transformed children, of blessed families, and of a God who continues to work.

This orchestra is not the end of the promise; it is only the beginning. Because what is born in the heart of God never stops. Let us continue dreaming, believing, shaping, and worshiping… with One Heart: the heart of Christ.

Then I will give them ONE HEART and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.

Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.

Jeremiah 32:39-41 NKJV
